In 2021, more than half (55%) of adults reported consuming at least one alcoholic beverage in the past 30 days, 16% reported binge drinking, and 6% reported that t hey drank heavily (Figure 1). Overall, alcohol consumption was highest among adults ages 25 to 34 years in 2021.
