6 Ιαν 2008 · Reliability of the Firestar .45 was never a problem; they work very well indeed. Durability of the slide on some of the early production was a problem, however, as some were imperfectly cast, and had "cold-spots" in the casting where cracks would develop with use.
28 Ιουλ 2007 · I had a Firestar M45 and loved that gun. It was on the heavy side, but that made it even better handling for its size and the Starvel finish is beautiful and very durable and the gun was very accurate as it was very easy to point.
2 Οκτ 2015 · This gun also has the Starvel nickel finish. I still have and shoot the gun and it has been extremely reliable with all 9mm bullet profiles. I have used this for concealed carry over the years, but many think it is too heavy for a small handgun........I say baloney.
19 Απρ 2019 · A very, very reliable firearm, in regards to In-Home Defense, and is very much so a enjoyable gun to shoot and for outdoor activities. It has original owner records and manual, two 5 Round Magazines, a Gun Lock for safety when not actively being used, ear plugs, 2 Seperate chokes for seperate shells, and the option to modify the gun.
