How to Have a Star Student of the Week. Highlighting a star student of the week each week is a great way to learn about your students and build classroom community. I love doing this with my students because you can learn SO much about them and the project is really led by them.
1. What do you like to eat? 2. What do you like to do? 3. How old are you? I place their answers on index cards and get them ready for calendar time. During calendar time, I display their answers on a pocket chart and the Super Star Student gets to share this with the class.
23 Οκτ 2023 · When deciding who will be the star student of the week, there are a few ways you can do it. You can try and align their week during their birthday week to make it extra special, but sometimes this can be a bit of a challenge.
The stars are included in the editable files so you can add your students' names with your favorite font. This could also be set up as a center so your star could decorate his or her star. Start your week by crowning your Star with one of these crowns.
On Thursdays, I give the students a half sheet of paper on which they write 3-6 sentences explaining why the person they chose should be student of the week. I rotate each week having a boy/girl. Next, I take all of the votes and select the one with the most votes.

5 Ιουλ 2023 · The Star Student gets to do so many fun things! They get to create a Star Student crown, use the Super Star Supply Bin (a bin filled with smelly markers and crayons, fun pencils, etc.), they also receive a Star Student ribbon and certificate!
