Student of the week is a great way to celebrate students in your classroom. This set includes everything you’ll need to have a star student without adding more to your to do list. It’s quick and easy to get your student of the week routine up and running.
Pick a student to be the star of the week. The chosen student fills in the form with personal info that will be on display for the week. Level: elementary. Age: 7-12. Downloads: 56.

On Thursdays, I give the students a half sheet of paper on which they write 3-6 sentences explaining why the person they chose should be student of the week. I rotate each week having a boy/girl. Next, I take all of the votes and select the one with the most votes.
The stars are included in the editable files so you can add your students' names with your favorite font. This could also be set up as a center so your star could decorate his or her star. Start your week by crowning your Star with one of these crowns.
