Although a lot of canon characters have official stats, they don't have careers which muddles things (and even FFG caveats that the characters' stats would change depending on the situation they're encountered in), but it's a good starting point.

22 Ιαν 2015 · Characters in Edge of the Empire are assigned a Career, which broadly defines their base skills, and an initial Specialization. Each Career has associated Talents (ex: Second Wind gives Gunnar the ability to heal additional Strain once per encounter).
