The game is published by Fantasy Flight Games, and focuses on the scum of the galaxy in the star wars universe. as science fantasy, expect less focus on how your ship gets from place to place, and more focus on what happens once you get there.
The Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Beginner Game is a very good introduction to the roleplaying hobby and Fantasy Flight Games’ newest RPG. It explains the rules clearly and, for old-school gamers like myself who like their dice numbered, it really helps with interpreting the symbols and their meaning.
