Stata can also produce command log files—files that contain only what you type. These files are perfect for later going back and creating a Stata do-file.
Log files are useful for capturing and saving the output in a text format, that appears in the Stata output window. There are different ways to initiate and manage log files, and we’ll cover these methods step by step.
