Ohio offers various liquor permits depending on what you want to do in the alcohol beverage industry (selling, manufacturing, distributing, etc.). Learn more about the different types of liquor permits available in Ohio by reviewing our Permit Class Types guide.
Liquor permits are issued in Ohio within a three tier system (review our three tier guide to learn more). A person or business can only have a liquor permit(s) issued to them on one tier--manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or retail--at a time.
