Office locations of the Illinois Department of Insurance are now open to the public. We encourage consumers to continue to use the IDOI website, including the Help Center, or to call 866-445-5364 rather than visiting the office.
Effective Immediately: The Department is excited to announce that all applications noted in this portal can be filed through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). NIPR makes it easy to apply for or renew licenses, providing cost-effective, streamlined and uniform licensing data.
Consumers can submit insurance complaints and external review requests online, download forms to fill out and submit, or call our Consumer Assistance Hotline 866-445-5364 to have forms mailed to you.
