Effective August 4, 2012, an offender will be removed from the Offender Search Web Page one year after the completion of their custodial term. Offenders will be removed one year after expiration of their maximum sentence date or their mandatory parole supervision date (MPS) if applicable.

29 Μαρ 2024 · NJSP maintains a database of current inmates and their locations within the system. To locate an inmate, begin by using the DOC locator tool, which requires entering the first three letters of the inmate's first and last name, allowing for variations in spelling.
To find an inmate in New Jersey, just scroll to the top of the page and click on the Inmate Search button. Once you locate them click next to the inmate's name or on the link provided and it will show you which prison the inmate is housed in.
Retired Law Enforcement Officers must apply for a gun carry permit through the New Jersey State Police. To perform an inmate search: Visit the NJDOC Offender Search page: https://www20.state.nj.us/DOC_Inmate/inmatefinder?i=I. Enter the inmate's first and last name, or SBI number. Click "Search" to view the results.
