25 Μαρ 2022 · The Government must embark on an incentivised national mentorship programme aimed at getting successful Jamaicans of character and influence to help motivate and mentor our students, especially our boys. There needs to be greater linkages between the home, school and community.
This academic year, over four hundred (400) teachers have been empowered to serve as mentors, bringing the number to seven hundred and thirty (730) trained and active mentors in 61% of our public schools.
