It's to help automatically configure a steam emulator (I believe Goldberg?) and remove SteamStub from the game's executable with Steamless. Only really useful if you download and use clean Steam files.
I have been trying to use steam autocracker to allow me to play my games offline. However, whenever I do that with the file, it seems to never work. From what I understand, denuvo and battle eye are the only software in games to prevent this, but why can't I do it with a game like borderlands 3?
Recently, there has been unfortunately a severe case of an exploit abuse in which it can crash people's games via spray bug. Basically the perpetrator can crash games of anyone in the server just by using custom bugged spray.
I've cracked two games using IDA pro to mess with the steam api dll but I couldn't crack most games that I've tried. My progress has been slow and I feel stuck. Does anyone have any tips on how or where to learn how to crack games?
