22 Φεβ 2019 · On the steam launcher it says "running," then flashes "syncing" and then nothing happens. I have tried to install the redistributables, but I'm unable to install DirectX there. It fails every time, even if I use compatibility mode. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure my DirectX is working fine because I use it for TW: Warhammer and other games.
14 Νοε 2019 · Many games on Steam have Steam Cloud saving, if the game you're transferring has this then there should be no need to transfer the save/config file manually if the same Steam account will be playing the game. You can see if a game has Steam Cloud by going to the store page of the game and looking for the Steam Cloud feature on the right-side.

27 Ιουλ 2017 · If all the files are in the correct place, and the drive letter is correct, there should not really be a reason why Steam won't recognize the games as installed now. All that may be needed, once it does recognize them, is to verify the game files using the previously linked support page.
26 Ιουν 2019 · All games on Steam are 100% without viruses. And that's one of the reasons why purchasing games on Steam is better than downloading them from shady websites. Usually if you're downloading pirated games, there's a high chance that people who cracked it put some viruses inside. But with Steam it's 100% safe.
5 Δεκ 2018 · ask steam sugesstion could be a good idea , are they even aware of all old games left in this state, and yes its not a steam problem. but mybe they can fix it with another Adobe flash solutions. if they dont do it already through steam common Redistibutable files. again you need a old game where games devs has left the building as we say.
19 Μαΐ 2018 · If I'm playing a game through the epic games launcher, such as fortnite, i get 600-700 fps. If i launch destiny 2 through battle.net i get 400 fps. But the second i try to play a game on steam i get 80-90 fps, which i understand is playable and isn't a bad amount but the game spikes every second rendering it unplayable.
17 Νοε 2021 · Steam prevents playing games in offline mode if there is an update pending, it's tied to Steam's DRM Like usual, DRM is being anti-consumer. But If the game is DRM free on Steam, then the game can be played without Steam even running, just run the game's executable in the game install folder.
