Steely Resolve. Enchantment. As Steely Resolve enters, choose a creature type. Creatures of the chosen type have shroud. (They can't be the targets of spells or abilities.) No one in Wirewood understands what is happening. They just know it's unnatural—and coming from Krosa.
steely resolve only gives creatures of the chosen type shroud. quirion ranger and wirewood symbiote do indeed say target, so you can't activate them targeting something of the chosen type. heritage druid does not target anything, so you can continue to use that.
Each steely resolve has a static ability that sets the creature type it effects when it enters play... you may choose something different each time and the abilities will "Stack" because both will apply Steels resolve to whatever you choose.. you don't have to choose the same thing twice... why would you think you have to?
So I realize this next question isn't a ruling, but do you all think I should put steely resolve in? You're right, it's not a rules question. Try Magic General or one of the format-specific subfora.
