Revelation Lesson 4 Day 2 Revelation 2:1-7 Jesus' Letter to the Church in Ephesus [Εφεσος] A famous city in the ancient world and in the early church. Paul ministered there for three years (Acts 19:1, Acts 19:10, Acts 20:31). Aquila and Priscilla, with Apollos served there (Acts 18:24-28).

Jesus instructed John to write: “The words of the first and the last, who died and came to life.”. Revelation 2:8. Eternal One. The One who was dead (the Lamb of God, Redeemer of all mankind) and came back to life — again, Eternal. He is God and the Son of God.
