It's a monophonic, three‑oscillator synth, featuring: 12dB and 24dB per octave filters. Three assignable LFOs. Four ADSR envelopes (two of which are assignable to various functions). 99 programmable memories. Principal editing functions exist as hardware knobs on the front panel, and secondary editing and routing functions can be found in software.
The Studio Electronics SE-1 is a monophonic analog synthesizer manufactured in Encino California in 1994. It is a synthesizer inspired by the original Minimoog, in order to be able to MIDI controlling everything the Minimoog was capable of.
With 24 knobs, 21 tactile switches, MIDI control over parameters and plenty of program storage memory (396 presets and 396 user patches), the SE-1 is a professional alternative to its classic forefathers. It is used by Fatboy Slim, Frontline Assembly, Dr. Dre, and Astral Projection.
The Studio Electronics SE-1 is a programmable monophonic synth faithful to the heritage of the original Minimoog. The synth captures the essence of the orignal Minimoog, while adding programmability, oscillator sync, dual-slope multi-mode filters, two extra envelopes, and three additional LFOs.
