Over the last year, Etsy has adopted a hostile position towards plant sellers, indiscriminately removing listings and permanently banning accounts. The justification is that they are trying to comply with CITES, but many plants being removed aren’t CITES-listed and these regulations don’t even apply to domestic trade in the first place.
