11 Αυγ 2023 · Here in Florida, data suggests people are dying by suicide at a higher rate than the national average. And here across the Tampa Bay area, that rate is even higher than the state average.
Rates are calculated using July 1 population estimates from the Florida Legislature, Office of Economic and Demographic Research which have been allocated by race based on information from the US Bureau of the Census.

When rates are per 100,000 population they are calculated using population estimates provided by the Florida Legislature, Office of Economic and Demographic Research. All age-adjusted rates utilize the Year 2000 Standard Population Proportion.

22 Φεβ 2022 · In 2019, there were 25 suicides among 10- to 14-year-olds in Florida – the age group’s second leading cause of death behind unintentional injuries. There were 102 suicides among those ages 15 to 19 and 190 were ages 20 to 24.
