Krisis kerabat diraja Kelantan 2010 tercetus ketika Sultan Kelantan, Sultan Ismail Petra menerima rawatan di Hospital Mount Elizabeth, Singapura. Beberapa pihak mengeluarkan kenyataan kesihatan Sultan Kelantan selepas Tengku Mahkota, Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra dilantik sebagai Pemangku Raja Kelantan pada 24 Mei 2009.
The Sultan of Kelantan (سلطان كلنتن) is the constitutional head of Kelantan state in Malaysia. The executive power of the state is vested in him as the monarch of the state. The current sultan, Muhammad V, is the 29th Sultan of Kelantan.
Pada 25 Mei 2009, baginda dilantik sebagai Pemangku Raja Kelantan, setelah ayahanda baginda Sultan Ismail Petra ibni Almarhum Sultan Yahya Petra mendapat rawatan susulan di Hospital Mount Elizabeth, Singapura.
Kerajaan negeri Kelantan meliputi sempadan Siam di selatan Sungai Golok, timur Banjaran Titiwangsa sehingga ke Besut di sempadan Kelantan-Terengganu. Beberapa dinasti memerintah Kelantan bermula dari keturunan Maharaja Sriwijaya yang berundur ke Langkasuka (Pattani sekarang) selepas Sriwijaya runtuh diserang Kerajaan Chola pada abad ke-10.
