More generally, sundown town is used to describe a place where the resident population was through deliberate action made to be overwhelmingly composed of white.
Sundown towns in New Jersey. NJ history. I came across expression that I wasn't familiar with, a "Sundown Town," so I looked it up and quickly I found myself on the a page that mentions New Jersey having Sundown towns well in to late 1960s and later.
