Summary: Suomy Vandals are medium priced, SHARP 5 star-rated motorbike helmets (that’s the top score), that are light weight and comfortable. They’re also noisy and their visor mechanism is a bit suspect. Very safe, well liked but flawed.
17 Ιουλ 2006 · Suomy claims that the design is based on extensive MotoGP and World Superbike racing experience. The idea is supposed to be that the low profile vents and the “rippled” surface along the back of the helmet would provide better aerodynamics and lower noise levels.
18 Ιαν 2009 · I recently tried the Suomy Vandal and thought I'd share my thoughts with you. I had never really heard too much about Suomy - probably because they are from Italy and do not concentrate too much on the North American market. The first thing I noticed was the front vents - instead of sliding vents they are actually twist controlled knobs.

I have quite a bit of helmets in the collection. I'll list them in order of preference: 1. Suomy Vandal (Favorite helmet. Great for track use and so comfortable.
