You can now use your NES/SNES Classic controller to play Switch games! Note that you'll probably have to "Change Grip/Order" in the controller menu to set it to Player 1. But the controllers work flawlessly with games like NES Online, Sonic Mania, and pretty much any 2D platformer.
Below is a list of games that are compatible with the SNES controller. Some games are 100% compatible, while others have issues. Feel free to contribute your findings. If a game has issues, please say what they are. This list is still incomplete, so there may be games that are compatible that aren’t listed here.
