Using a super magic potion temporarily raises the player's Magic level by an amount between 2 and 13, based on the player's current level; calculated by the expression: (2 + 12% of the player's magic level, rounded down). This potion may be dropped by the Possessed Priest boss during the quest Icthlarin's Little Helper.

You'll also get a ton of GP in alchables on the side. I trained from 87-99 magic in just a couple of days using really bad gear (lunars and a sunspear (t78) and no potions), better gear and some potions will make your progress even faster.
Magic works a little differently from Ranged and melee. The spell you select have both type and damage; type (air, water, earth, fire) we've already covered. Damage is a little wonky.
