Last week (the weekend of December 29-31, 2022) I finally got my chance. My good friend and riding buddy, Derek Habel, was looking at buying a horse in the Apache Junction area.
Interior routes shown on map range from moderate to extremely difficult. Route-finding can be nearly impossible at times. Use the three towers and paved roads as directional landmarks. Avoid drift side of dunes where rollovers are possible.
