She and her husband have a son together, Jovan, whom Suzette raved over in a 2014 Facebook post, writing: “My king whom I would move mountains for... who carries my sister’s smile and who has the best hugs! Just love him so.”
One such highly anticipated wedding was that of Suzette Quintanilla, the talented musician and sister of the legendary Selena Quintanilla. However, this joyous occasion was marred by controversy and heartache due to the involvement of Yolanda Saldivar, a former manager and close associate of the Quintanilla family.
The group performed for years at weddings and other community events, as well as at their family’s restaurant, Papagayos. Suzette didn’t want to be a drummer for the band at first, however.
