1G-11 Fuel System: IAC Valve Control Mode Before started: The IAC valve is initialized at a 70% opening position when engine is not running. (Ignition switch “OFF”). When cranking: The IAC valve is controlled to operate at approx. 60 – 90% open position.
23 Ιουν 2014 · I'm posting because I want to know if other Suzuki outboard owners have experienced one or more IAC valve failures on their 4-stroke DF200,225,250,300 motors. I have a pair of 2006 DF225's that run great and have had no issues aside from the failure of this IAC valve.

21 Αυγ 2018 · What I think I'll do is leave the idle screw at the +1 full turn position - seems to equate to around 1000 revs. I'll then remove the IAC valve for further investigations; having blocked it's associated pipework.
24 Ιουλ 2020 · To set the IAC valve duty to constant 22.5%, raise the engine speed to 1 000 r/min or higher by turning the by-pass air screw and hold that speed for 10 seconds. At this time, the buzzer will sound to notify that the IAC duty is in the fixed mode.
