Swan Falls Dam is a concrete gravity type hydroelectric dam in the western United States, on the Snake River in southwestern Idaho, United States. At the dam, the river is the border of Ada and Owyhee counties; it is approximately five miles east of Murphy , the seat of Owyhee County.

This route takes you along a dusty trail with a mix of rocky and flat areas, offering great views of the Snake River. Unload your ATVs on the Snake Canyon Rim above Swan Falls Dam and head upriver. At the Snake River, you may find a duck blind, but continue upriver to the Big Foot Bar.
4 Ιουλ 2020 · This trail begins at the boat launch south of Swan Falls Dam on the east bank of the Snake River and travels south along the river for two miles, becoming more rocky and primitive the farther you hike. There are excellent views of the canyon walls, river, and local flora and fauna, including nesting birds of prey.
Turn-by-Turn Directions: From exit 44 in Meridian, take Idaho 69 south for 8 miles to East Avalon Avenue in Kuna. Turn south on Swall Falls Road, and continue for 21 miles through the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area to the Swan Falls Dam.
