The trousers are probably the best part of the M-1959 uniform - made of proper strong fabric, extremely well finished, and actually very practical with a load of pockets and a comfortable cut.
The best hunting pants are wool pants — hands down. Their natural insulation maintains body warmth even when wet so they are great for any winter outdoor activities. Most military surplus wool pants have front and back pockets and some even have roomy cargo pockets.
