317.262.3000. One of the many wonderful family-friendly green spaces in Plainfield, Swinford Park has 25 acres including a playground designed for children under 6. A shelter is available for picnics or family reunions, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, four tennis courts, and more.
Check out the schedule or plan on attending one of the Plainfield Girls Softball games played at Swinford. Their a lot of fun to watch for both the adults and the kids. The park was named after Plainfield's first fire chief, Red Swinford in 1968.
