Court: The county maintains a circuit court which was established January 1, 2009. The first Judge of the Switzerland Circuit Court is W. Gregory Coy. The Judge is elected to a term of six years. The Court is a general jurisdiction court, meaning it handles all types of cases. The Judge must be a licensed attorney.

8 Ιουν 2023 · After being convicted by a Switzerland County Jury in May, 2023, Shane M. Turner received the maximum possible sentence for his crime. At a recent hearing, Turner was sentenced to 34 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.
