Free-to-play players will need to unlock Chiss before they create a Chiss character. Subscribers can automatically create a Bounty Hunter or Imperial Agent as a Chiss while they are subscribed. Once the character is created, they do not need to remain subscribed to continue playing the created character.
Chiss. Chiss are known to be cunning warriors and capable military leaders. Chiss are also known to be highly educated, and many of them use their skills to gather intelligence on their enemies in an expedient and quiet manner.
I want to do a chiss jedi knight, but am unsure of how a lore friendly version would work and backstory as my friends and I rp as our characters. Any ideas? I mean, it's certainly conceivable. We have a character in the game already who's a Chiss Jedi, after all.

So, any Force Adept Chiss who wants to develop their talent has to self-exile and join either the Jedi or Sith. This taboo against the Force can even be used to explain Chiss Non-Force PC's. After all, Non-Force toons have access to Force abilities through Heroic Moment.
28 Νοε 2021 · There literally is a Chiss Jedi Master that you can recruit as a companion, so while force-using Chiss are rare, it certainly isn't totally lore-breaking in SWTOR.
