Hi I am trying to transfer my vechain from a vechain wallet (SYNC) but I keep getting an error message saying " insufficient energy". I asked about this on the "legit " vechain telegram channel and I was immediately sent a message by 2 people saying they were from the vechain foundation.
The easiest way to identify the issue is import your ledger device again and compare the wallet address. Reset your Ledger device: Reset your Ledger device by entering three wrong PIN codes.
You need Sync 2 to use on Vexchange.io. I use Sync more because of the desktop apps like manager. You cannot import a sync seed into sync 2. You will need to make a new wallet in Sync 2 and send any Vet / VeThor directly to your new wallet.
Accessing your Ledger VeChain account via Sync. Connect your Ledger device and open the VeChain app on your Ledger device. Open Sync wallet on your computer. In the app, select Create Now. In the next screen, select the Ledger logo. A list of accounts appears. Name your device then click Import. Your Ledger VeChain accounts appear.
Sync2 + Ledger Nano S+. I recently linked my Nano S+ with Sync2 and did a small test transaction sending 50 Vet from Binance.us and it went without any issues. About an hour ago I did another small test transaction and it wasnt until I had completed the steps in binance, that I realized my Nano S+ was not plugged into my PC.
Sync2-lite is the official web-application at https://lite.sync.vecha.in/#/ (opens in a new tab) During the fist visit it will ask to confirm that it might be unstable and a disclaimer, both need to be acknowledged:
