29 Ιαν 2018 · A synchro-check relay (SCR) is used to avoid closing the generator circuit breaker (CB) unless the machine is not in-phase with the power system. Large changes in voltage magnitude, frequency or phase angle of the system can cause the generator to fall out-of-synchronism with the system.
The Lysekil project is coordinated by the Div. of Electricity, Uppsala University since 2002, with the objective to develop full-scale wave power converters (WEC). The concept is based on a linear synchronous generator (anchored to the seabed) driven by a heaving point absorber.
