Purchased ba ii plus in 2018 but have only used it for a total 30-40 days so far. I know I have not used it much but I'm not sure if it degrades just with time (been over 3 years). Do I need to worry about the battery?
To replace the battery in a BA II Plus Financial calculator that does not have a removable battery door: 1) Turn off the calculator and place it face down. 2) Using a small Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws from the back case and put them in a safe place.
The batteries will last multiple years but in my main calculator I always changed the batteries right before the exam so I wouldn't have to worry about it. It's worth the peace of mind.
