Sure - I have a Denon AVR-X4700H which supports all the HDMI 2.1 standards. Main output goes to TV, monitor 2 output goes to sync box. I have tested with inputs from Apple TV, PS5, Xbox series X and it all works great. The only downside is that the sync box doesn’t automatically turn on/off, I have to manually start the sync in the app.

Unlike other Hue products, the Sync Box is managed primarily through a standalone app (Hue Sync). Pairing the decide to my phone was simple, as was creating an Entertainment Zone to group with my existing Play Bars, and the lights were syncing within about 5 minutes of the Sync Box switched on for the first time.
