1 Ιαν 2014 · This review revives the concept of behavioral systems and demonstrates its utility in the development of a uni#ed theory of human social behavior and social bonding.
In summary, these findings identify at least two central issues for social work scholarship in terms of ways to conceptualize (1) the integration of human behavior and the social environment and (2) the reciprocal relationship or wholeness of understanding human behavior in the social environment.
This systems or organismic view reflects a transactional approach to educational and developmental psychology (e.g., Gordon, 1975; Schiamberg & Smith, 1982; Thompson, 1971) and provides the basis for the framework for studying human behavior presented below.
The component of the systems model shown below shows the individual and is adapted from Eysenck ( 1947 ), Miller ( 1991 ), Norman (1980) and others. It identifies three components of the mind to organize many of the major issues and topics discussed in educational psychology.
