Welcome back to the bass tournament series that tests the mettle of all participants especially when it gets brutally cold and the fish aren't cooperating (which happens from time to time). Anyway, the opening tournament had a total of 22 teams come out to battle.

Region Seven is made up of 6 Virginia Bass Nation clubs in the southeastern portion of Virginia who share a passion for fishing and friendly competition. We hold four Region 7 tournaments per year, host an OPEN tournament, and support youth and conservation events and projects in Hampton Roads.
Bass Sportsman 2023 official tournaments approved by the DNR. There are ramp limits in place this year. At Stonewall Jackson Vandalia Ramp, it's limited to 36 boats. If there ever are more than that, we could also include the Georgetown Boat Ramp (Little Skin Creek).
Our tournaments are for Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass. The current Occoquan lake record Largemouth is a little over 9 lbs. Not only is the Occoquan Reservoir considered one of THE BEST Bass fisheries in Northern Virginia but consistently ranks high state wide.

Qualify for our Championship! Simply fish 7 events in a single division or across several different divisions. You can also qualify by fishing a minimum of 5 tournaments during the year and earn a berth based on the points system.
