20 Αυγ 2021 · The kit itself is very simple, as is the airframe. It does have a nice petite coke-bottle shape that most can appreciate, and the model itself scream petite when you pick it up. It is very light for a modern-ish jet.

7 Αυγ 2014 · Trumpeter 1/48 scale T-38A Talon. With its easy-to-follow instructions and well-engineered, precise fits, Trumpeter’s T-38A was a piece of cake. Step 1 deals with the cockpit. First off, decide if you want the canopies open or closed to pick the correct actuators. I suggest leaving them off, however, until after painting.
The T-38 Talon was a trainer variant of Northrop's project N-156 that developed a lightweight, low-cost, single-seat, supersonic interceptor. While the USAF was not very interested in the single-seat aircraft, they lacked a supersonic trainer in the 1950s.
15 Μαΐ 2018 · Last winter I built a 1/32 scale model of the US Air Force T-38C Talon jet trainer. Although the result has nowhere near the level of detail seen in the amazing models built by some of the members here, I thought I'd share my story and construction notes anyway.
4 Ιαν 2021 · Here is my Trumpeter T-38C Talon, built completely OOB. This was a fun kit and I had no problems with it during construction. I purchased and built this kit last summer, so it did not stay idle in my stash for long. It was a welcome break from aftermarket builds and kit corrections. I would gladly build this kit again! 10 Δεκ 2021 · The aerodynamic model for our T-38 is based on Northrop and NASA data. It includes wind tunnel and flight test data, in addition to other technical sources. The final flight model has been corrected and validated by a real T-38 instructor pilot.
