When I tested Sennheiser’s previous top-of-the-range earbuds, the IE 800 S, I was impressed by the well-defined and detailed sound.

The engineering changes that I spoke of earlier in the review have proven themselves a superior addition to the august Sennheiser line of IEMs and headphones.
