20 Μαΐ 2011 · TALON de-milled millions of .50 rds.,sold the projo's,powder and brass as 'scrap'. There were some they were able to reload and used what ever they had for components. Believe that the bullet you are referring to is an AP that had been tumbled and the black painted tip come out clean.
19 Μαρ 2012 · I bought some of this ammo 5 years or more ago. I am selling it now on EE and a potential buyer has questions. I cannot for the life of me remember the Talon story. My recollection is that they used Lake City brass and were well respected. Can anyone help?
28 Ιουλ 2013 · Are you sure it's not just a Talon reloaded .50 Bmg? The 12.7 has a 108mm case, while the 0.50-cal has a 99mm case. From the pic, there appears to be roughly a 9mm difference in case length between the two.

11 Μαΐ 2021 · Slightly underpowered ball ammo, won't cycle on a 20" barrel. Less recoil due to underpower charge. FPS is 2650~, accuracy is slightly worse than PMC bronze. Separating brass headstamp dates helps. Cheap though so I use this to let inexperienced people blast some rounds to say they shot the rifle
