7 Ιουν 2024 · The available evidence on the bioactive potential of Taraxacum officinale provides direction for identifying and developing herbal agents to prevent different types of cancers in the future. However, there is a need to examine the clinical validation of pure compounds for drug development.
9 Ιουν 2021 · Previous studies showed that Taraxacum officinale has anticancer activity in different types of cancer. One study showed that Taraxacum officinale extracts block proliferation and invasion of breast and prostate cancer cells (Sigstedt et al. 2008 ).
16 Μαΐ 2022 · Cancer progression is known to involve the degree of proliferation. Taraxacum officinale root extract (TRE) has demonstrated therapeutic anti-tumor activity in different cancer cell models.
Current results reveal significant antioxidant and antiproliferative effects in a dose-dependent manner and suggest that Taraxacum officinale essential oil could be useful in formulations for cancer therapy.
