Both look to be of '70s vintage, but my main interest was directed toward the widest-angle unit (I was expecting to recieve only it, anyway.) 11 Ιουλ 2013 · My favorite is the model 110 which is 12.5°. The model 116 is 10.5° and the model 118 is 11°. All of them give great wide angle views IMO and are easy to recommend. The model 116 is probably the easiest to find these days, but all of them show up with routine on eBay.
If you have a Tasco product that requires service or repair, you will need to determine the date the product was manufactured. Tasco products manufactured before 9/1/2002 may not contain a code for the year of manufacture. See Diagram 1 for help in determining if your product has this code.

21 Ιουλ 2021 · The Tasco 7×35 Model No. 400 could be placed a notch higher, mainly due to bigger prisms; it also came with a field of view of 11 degrees. Still the Model No. 110 is the most sought-after pair of binoculars in this class, a twin of the Sears Discoverer 7×35, described by me earlier.
27 Ιαν 2020 · How does one determine vintage pre-1970 Tasco binoculars compared to new ones made after 1960? I was told to look for the larger "TASCO" name rather than the smaller letter "tasco" with registered trademark.
21 Ιουλ 2021 · The BPWC2 7×35 was a far better option, with a field of view of as much as 11 degrees (still there are opinions that the field was actually narrower) and an eye relief distance amounting to 17.5 mm. A curiosity – in the 7×35 class Russians also offered a roof prism device called Foton; still its optics was rather mediocre.
