TASFA 2024-25 English Fillable Application and Notes. The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is a free application that collects information to help determine eligibility for state (or institutional) financial aid programs administered by institutions of higher education in the state of Texas.
For the 2024-2025 application year, the last date to apply is 11:59 p.m. Central time (CT) on June 30, 2025. For the 2025-26 application year, you can complete the application between Oct. 1, 2024 (or as announced), and 11:59 p.m. Central time (CT) on June 30, 2026. Start the Online TASFA.

The following forms (PDF) are available for you to download and complete for your financial aid requirements. Completed forms can be submitted in person at U Central or by fax or scanned and sent as an attachment at www.utrgv.edu/askrio or finaid@utrgv.edu. UTRGV Verification forms can be submitted via the Strategic Enrollment Document Central.
As of March 1, 2024, the 2024-2025 online TASFA is available. Click here to access the 2024-25 online TASFA form. The 2024-25 TASFA priority deadline was April 15, 2024. Students and/or their parents must provide important information about their family's income and expenses every year.

TASFA Checklist 2024-2025. 1. Complete the 2024-2025 TASFA. 2. Submit Notarized Affidavit of Residency to Registrar’s Office (registrar@tamusa.edu). 3. Submit Verification Documents: • Dependent Students – you are a dependent student if you were required to report your parents’ tax information on your TASFA form.
