Bob Taylor has stated that there's no appreciable difference in sound between the various GS Minis, but there are WAY too many players that don't find that to be true. You owe it to yourself to try a Taylor Academy 12 before you decide to purchase.
12 Αυγ 2018 · Taylor GS Mini. So I was in the market for a travel guitar. I wanted something I could wear as a backpack and ride my bike to gigs. I found a walnut gs mini for 350... and let me just say...woooooooooooooooooooow! If you haven't tried one.. def recommend it. It is loud and has really good sound.
2 Ιαν 2014 · Although we have a stable of fine guitars, the GS Mini is an impressive little instrument, and fits her much better. We now have "mama bear" and "papa bear" guitars to fit each of us.

17 Σεπ 2021 · For this review, we took a look at the Taylor GS Mini Mahogany. As the name suggests, this variant features a mahogany top, which is paired with layered sapele back and sides, as well as a sapele neck. It has to be said, just how good this guitar looks.
7 Φεβ 2024 · The GS Mini Sapele’s top is solid Sitka spruce while the back and sides are layered sapele – an alternative to mahogany that is stronger and harder, resulting in slightly brighter overall tone than mahogany.
