Every school district in Iowa has implemented a TLC plan. The state of Iowa has almost 10,000 teachers serving in a teacher leadership role. There are six categories of allowable uses for TLC funds as specified in legislation. 1. TLC funds can be used to raise minimum salary to $33,500 for teachers. (no longer applicable)
