The State Board of Examiners is the educator licensing agency in New Jersey in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:6-34 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 6A:9B-1 et seq. It issues all certificates that are required for public school employment.
Texas Teacher Reciprocity Agreements. The state of Texas allows prospective teachers who currently hold valid teaching certifications in other states to be able to submit verification of their current credentials to qualify for teacher certification in Texas.
Out-of-State Certified Educators. Individuals who hold a standard certificate to teach in another state or territory, seeking certification in Texas, must first apply for a review of credentials. A standard certificate is defined in TAC §230.111 (c). Texas does not have reciprocity with any state.
