25 Απρ 2009 · Standard D tuning is -> D G C F A D. Drop the low D string to D, and you got Drop C-> C G C F A D. Raise every string a semitone, and you got Drop C#, or sharpened Drop C -> C# G# C# F# A# D#, or flattened Drop D -> Db Ab Db Gb Bb Db.

26 Οκτ 2008 · Strum the 5th fret on the d string, tune the g string. Strum the 4th fret on the g string, then tune the b string too it. 5th fret B string, tune high e to that.
30 Δεκ 2018 · My natural tuning is half-step down, which on a 5 results with: a# d# g# c# f#, which would translate to a 4 string’s: d# g# c# f#. Easy. However, in this setup dropping the E string full step down on occasion would result with: c# g# c# f#.
What would you consider a normal gauge for Drop C# tuning? I don't want that low C# one to be too loose or floppy, but I don't want to find the higher strings too hard to bend. Do you think 10-46 would be OK?
