24 Φεβ 2009 · After a period of rehabilitation, Tellico was opened to OHV use and is now considered by many to offer some of the most challenging off-road riding in the country. With more than 40 miles of technical trails to cover, you'll be hard pressed to ride the entire system in a single weekend.
Offering 40 miles of trails, Upper Tellico’s 8,000 acres are known for great fourwheeling. The Tellico River crosses this high elevation basin’s rugged, steep terrain. Most trails are open to all types of off-highway vehicles; one trail is restricted to all-terrain vehicles only.
The 43 miles of trails are famous for having some of the best 4x4 trail riding in all of the U.S. The closest towns are Murphy, NC south of the area and Tellico Plains, TN northwest down along Tellico River. The Dixie Run is held annually at the end of September.
30 Ιαν 2009 · The Tellico Off-Road Vehicle Area in North Carolina’s Nantahala National Forest has over 40 miles of off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails—twice as many as are legally allowed by the U.S Forest Service.
15 Οκτ 2024 · The motor vehicle use map for the Cherokee National Forest is available free of charge at USDA Forest Service offices in Cleveland, Greeneville, Benton, and Tellico Plains, and Unicoi, Tennessee. The map is black and white that displays only the roads and trails open to motor vehicles.

The tellico tracks are tracks I received from people online, and I compiled & edited them before our ride. The Active logs represent my tracks.
