24 Φεβ 2009 · After a period of rehabilitation, Tellico was opened to OHV use and is now considered by many to offer some of the most challenging off-road riding in the country. With more than 40 miles of technical trails to cover, you'll be hard pressed to ride the entire system in a single weekend.
Offering 40 miles of trails, Upper Tellico’s 8,000 acres are known for great fourwheeling. The Tellico River crosses this high elevation basin’s rugged, steep terrain. Most trails are open to all types of off-highway vehicles; one trail is restricted to all-terrain vehicles only.

The motor vehicle use map for the Cherokee National Forest is available free of charge at USDA Forest Service offices in Cleveland, Greeneville, Benton, and Tellico Plains, and Unicoi, Tennessee.
