The exhibitions were well-curated, showcasing a wide range of artifacts and works of art from different time periods and cultures. The displays were informative and engaging, making it easy to learn and appreciate the history and significance of each piece.

Your instructor may ask you to write a review of an exhibition at a local museum or art gallery. Like other writing about art, a review should deepen the reader's understanding of art history, or enhance the reader's experience of works of art, or both. Writing a review requires analytic skill, but a review is not identi- cal with an analysis.
An AJA museum review should not simply offer a listing of the contents of an exhibition or new gallery installation but should instead assess its strengths and weaknesses and locate the exhibition or installation within current scholarship and museum practice.
